With Texas heat is pushing records all week, this was a perfect morning to be out on Braunig Lake.
Bob Bickett and I started early and were on the water just before sunrise. Knowing the temperature was forecast to hit 105° today, we had no intentions to be out long. Once again we were blessed with beautiful conditions. There was a stiff southern breeze and the perfect cloud cover to keep us from the direct sunlight. Between us we landed a half dozen redfish and were heading home by 10:30. Chalk one more up for the good guys.
